Divers performed surveys of all proposed landing sites and were able to give a detailed
report of profile and bottom conditions. Extra caution and protection is required at the
landing site to protect the cable from hazards such as anchorages and bottom fishing. The
details provided by the divers is being used in the plans to bore or trench the cable at
all landing sites.
